"Feelings are much like waves. We can't keep them from coming, but we can choose which ones to surf."

Lately I've been going through an emotional roller-coaster- nothing really bad, mind you, just enough to make me confused about what in the wide world I'm supposed to be feeling. When I found that quote I immediately thought:

It's so true. We are all going to have emotions come to us, crash over us even. Though we may feel out of breath, and sometimes you just want to let it sink you for a bit, we have to choose which ones to let us up to spread out wings.

Don't deliberately sink.
That's dumb.

Choose to let your emotions affect you the way you want them to. It's hard, but you'll swing it eventually. If you are going to let a silly experience hold you down, let one thing hold you back from taking another step, how are you going to make it any further? I can tell you, if you don't take that step not only will you be stuck in a rut, you are going to be one SUPER BORED and BORING person. Take those steps.

That is all for now.
(remember to smile too, it's a good remedy)
